Brief introduction of the course
RoboThink offers an award-winning US-based STEM program (robotics and coding) for children aged 5 to 15 years. Our unique modular kits allow students to build freely without the hassle of using screwdrivers or soldering irons. We have three programs for different age groups. Each program will challenge their critical thinking ability, nurture their creativity, and develop problem solving skills!
What will you learn from our 3 main courses?
1. Junior RoboThinker (5 to 7 year olds)
Intro to intermediate level for 5 to 7 year olds. Students will develop the basic understanding of connecting RoboThink cells, gears, axels and connectors, and also cover basic mechanical concepts and fun robots. This is complemented by the understanding of electronic components & using them with the RoboThink cells. They will be challenged to problem solve, and to design and create robots based on various themes. Finally, students will discover and learn basic coding using our child-friendly easy to use app. Watch their excitement as they code their robots to live!
2. RoboThinker (8 to 15 year olds)
Intro to advanced level for 8 year olds and above. Students will develop the basic understanding of using RoboThink cells. They will cover mechanical and engineering concepts (including gears, axels and motors), electronic components (such as mainboard, sensors and controllers, servo motors) as well as coding using our in-house app.
3. RoboCoder (9 to 15 year olds)
Students will learn to build complex robots and learn how to code them. Instead of using controllers to move their robots, they will use the power of code! They will also learn how to make their own video games, including building their own game controllers using our kits! How cool is that?
