About HypnoBirthing®

HypnoBirthing® is a childbirth preparation course. This course utilizes a combination of techniques and philosophies to prepare mothers and their birthing partners to approach their birth without fear by providing them with knowledge, support and tools for birth.

Though a very simple program of self-hypnosis mothers learns to release emotions tied to fear-based stories and misinformation. Through this process, mothers see birth as a normal, natural and healthy life experience. Mothers learn to trust that their bodies know how to bring their babies into the world in a calm and gentle way as nature intended it. 

The techniques you learn will allow you to stay calm and in control during labor and birth and work very effectively either with natural or surgical birth.

What will You Learn? 

Hypnobirthing®  is a 5-session course, each session is 2.5 hours. Here is an overview of the course:

• Section 1: To remove the negative understanding, doubts, worries or uncertainties on childbirth.
• Section 2: Pre-birth family bonding and preparing your mind and body through exercise and knowledge of nutrition.
• Section 3: Self-hypnosis, visualization and advanced deepening techniques
• Section 4: Overview and summary of childbirth. Understand how the body works and prenatal signs to clear the childbirth fear and worry.
• Section 5: Birthing – The final act and bonding

• The course includes Hypnobirthing® textbooks, 2 relaxation tracks, class handouts and relaxation scripts.
